Rest Day
"My father was one of the 30 US Soldiers killed in Afghanistan yesterday with the Seals rescue mission. My father was the pilot of the chinook. I have seen other pictures of victims from this deadly mission and wish you would include a picture of my father. He is the farthest to the left."
Sincerely,

I had been trying to figure out a way to remind people of the importance of registering for Fight Gone Bad 6 on September 17th. A ten year old boy came up with something better than I or anyone ever could. The proceeds from the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (Which FGB6 is raising money for) helps to fund the college educations of the children of special ops soldiers killed in action or training as well as provides counceling and mentorship to them in the years to come. Please register as soon as possible. There is a minimum of $150 that must be raised per person in order to participate and for those who did it last year they can tell you it is not that hard.
Also on September 3, 2011 CrossFit gyms across the nation and world will gather together to honor our heroes killed in action August 5, 2011 with the 31 Heroes workout in an effort to raise funds for the families affected by this tragedy. All funds received will go to these families through the Navy SEAL Foundation.
There is no fundraising for this event. Just a $31 dollar registration fee that gets you a T-Shirt as well.
Last year we raised $5,000 for FGB5 with just ten participants. I can't wait to see what we can do this year.
